New pace worked great!

Taking the slower pace during my workout worked much better for me tonight. I did about 20 minutes on our elliptical machine at home around 6:00pm, ate a light dinner and went to Centre for my workout around 6:50pm.

It took about 50 minutes to complete the weight training including about 5 minutes of stretching beforehand. Following my weights, I rode a stationary bike for 10 minutes trying to add a little more cardio to the day. I was home by 8:15pm, and completely exhausted. A good hot shower later, I feel very energized now. This is the feeling I was looking for when I started.

The next 3 days I hope to get 30-45 minutes of cardio on the elliptical machine at home before I return on Monday for another day of weights. Funny part about the last 11 days is I have gained 5 pounds!!! I guess the workouts has increased my hunger as well. I didn't start this project as a weight loss program, so I'm not worried about the weight. I know it will come off with time.

Bundle up it's going to get cold!!!
